(Senior) Product manager, China

Reports to Head of Operative Product Management

Overall objective: Drive success in our China business through strong regional product management deliverables and results.

Key responsibilities:
I. Provide strong product management support to China sales team

--Provide product presentations/demonstrations/training, and ensure timely delivery of product prototypes and other materials
--Support product launches
--Support sales activities, e.g., in participating in key customer meetings and customer and partner events
--Participate in China business reviews and provide insightful product/portfolio perspective.
--Ensure alignment of local marketing and sales efforts and product strategy.
--Establish strong relationships with China sales team and serve as the key point of contact with Copenhagen product management function.

II. Support global product making and in-market product management to make sure we optimize for the Chinese market

--Develop a China-specific product strategy proposal to win in Call-centric, Task-based and consumer businesses. Understand LE and SME opportunity in China, and how to tap into that. Provide strong input to global portfolio planning.
--Provide market insights as well as concrete business case input from China to global products under development, including China business cases to product milestones.
--Provide in-depth and insightful competitive analysis of the Chinese market, with specific focus on China-specific dynamics and competitors.
--Identify industry trends in China, and synthesize insights into opportunities and challenges.
--Develop deep understanding of Chinese end-user needs / pain points.

III. Identify, propose and develop China-specific offerings

--Synthesize Chinese market and product opportunities into concrete proposals including business cases to global product prioritization and execution.
--Engage with Chinese 3rd party ecosystem and identify and develop concrete opportunities to improve our offering in China.

To understand the Chinese ecosystem in call-centric, task-based and consumer domains, and create a strategy how Jabra can increase competitiveness and sales through 3rd party engagement.

To identify, propose and develop China-specific offerings with Chinese 3rd party ecosystem, for instance, concrete integrations in call-centric, UC, consumer ecosystems.

Drive GN Audio regional product management in China

You will drive our regional product management activities in China as part of a global product management organization, and report to Senior Director, Product Management of GN Audio, and the home of Jabra, VXi and Blue Parrott brands.
We have ambitious targets to grow our business fast and profitably in China and globally through a strong product portfolio with great experiences. In order to succeed, we are looking for a product manager to join us to take our China product management activities to the next level.

Winning with products that consumers and professional users, organizations and companies love.

Focus on three key areas: First, you provide strong product management support to China sales team, including product presentations, launch activities and supporting in partner and customer engagement. Second, you will crystallize the key China-specific consumer and market understanding and provide input to global product making, including competitive landscape, and China-specific business cases for our global products. You make sure the Chinese market is well understood and taken into account in our global product making. Third, you will identify, propose and develop China specific offering with particular focus on the Chinese 3rd party ecosystem.

Be located with our China Sales headquarters and be part of key sales functions, work very closely with our global product management team in Copenhagen, Denmark. The GN Audio products you will work on are the key drivers of the growth and profitability of our business in China.

Market and consumer focused product manager with experience on international brands

Be strong to demonstrate track record of product management in branded product business in consumer electronics or similar industry in China. With rich experience in building deep understanding of the consumer, market and the competition, and in using that insight to guide your product management work. Well understand the market dynamics in China, and turn that insight into right concrete product and portfolio proposals.

You are strong networker and communicator, are accustomed to work with people in different functions as well different countries and cultures. You are comfortable and confidently interacting and presenting to customers and partners as wells senior leadership in the company with both fluently Mandarin and strong English (written and spoken ).
