Global Research and Development (R&D) develops hearing aids, related wireless accessories and smartphone apps. Global R&D is distributed across four sites in Europe, Asia and US. The Systems Engineering and Project Management Office is a function in Global R&D providing advanced support within technical and administrative areas and consists of several teams.

Purpose of the job
Making a great difference for internal stakeholders, giving GN Hearing a competitive advantage by helping the different teams become more productive and deliver right first time.

Responsibilities
The Systems Engineering team is responsible for promoting and driving Systems Engineering activities across all R&D sites at one of the world’s best manufacturers of hearing aids. This position is located at GN’s headquarter in Ballerup, Denmark.

As our new Requirements Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
• Writing and reviewing requirements
• Heading and anchoring the requirements elicitation process, with participation from relevant representatives from other parts of the GN Hearing organization
• Ensuring that requirements are put into the requirements database used at GN Hearing
• Analysing requirements and ensuring that each requirement can be developed and verified within the given resource constraints
• Improving and promoting Requirements Management best practices across R&D
• Creating and refining corporate procedures that are related to Requirements Management
• Training staff in Requirements Management and relevant procedures
• Facilitating change control of requirements

Preferred candidate
We expect that you have the following competencies and experience:
• Good at keeping the big picture in mind while still mastering the details
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbally
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and business processes in the Medical Device Industry
• An analytical mind-set
• A quality-driven focus
• An extrovert, outgoing approach
• Persistent and solution-oriented
• A Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering or similar
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience. Preferably 5 years of experience within Requirements Management.

GN Hearing will not support relocation to Denmark.
