The Role
In order to further strengthen the Jabra organization, a new role has been identified as Head of Strategic Partners EMEA for closer cooperation with the ecosystems (mainly System-Integrators and Telcos) of Strategic Alliances in EMEA.

Jabra has already established successful cooperations with Strategic Alliances on a global level and
wishes to further develop and strengthen the businesses on EMEA level. Reporting to the MD EMEA Channel, the following captures our understanding of the responsibilities and the ideal candidate profile:

The successful candidate will own the blueprint and Scorecard for System-Integrators and Telcos (partly DMR) in EMEA. He/She develops strategic and tactical Go to market plans for Strategic Partners focusing on growth and market development. The new Head of Strategic Partners will be a strategic relationship owner and will drive our success mainly in the SME market as well as the enterprise market. The successful candidate will liaise and work with colleagues around the EMEA region, creating a virtual team, across regions to ensure a common, consistent approach.

Candidate Profile
In terms of the performance and personal competences required for the position, we would like to
highlight the following:

Industry and Functional Experience
Deep expertise in B2B solution sales with in depth channel understanding
Experience either with the telecommunications and convergence space, understanding specifically unified communications
Ability to enable partners to communicate Jabra´s value proposition to SME and LE customers

Executing for Results
Proven ability to identify potential partners and enable and develop existing channel partners
Develop new business opportunities in SME and LE through SA’s channel
Identify new partnerships to capture SME opportunities
A structured, well organized and detail oriented person with a sense of urgency who can prioritize initiatives and opportunities.

Strategy and Business Acumen
Ability to develop a comprehensive go to market strategy for a well-defined product portfolio and thereby a track record of inspiring and motivating people indirectly
Excellent presentation capabilities and a demonstration of the ability to listen and negotiate tactically and work with others in a growing market.

Building Relationships and Using Influence
A European perspective and an ability to work across an organization
Working with global SA marketing lead to ensure creation of content to drive SA communication strategy across EMEA including development of value propositions, sales tools, newsletters, eshots, webinars and social media.
Agree Pan-EMEA event strategy with channel marketing and align locally on EMEA events with SA partners
Close cooperation with global SME team
Experience of communicating, reporting and presenting to high-level management

From a location point of view, the successful candidate can be based either in the Nordic region,
across the Benelux, UK, German and French markets.

Our Understanding of the Situation
GN has been helping people connect since 1869. Initially, as a telegraph company and now as a headset company, GN Audio/Jabra and a hearing instruments and diagnostic equipment company, GN Hearing. GN is listed on the NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen stock exchange and reported a growth of 14% last year in 2015 and EBITA of DKK1.5bn. Revenue reached consolidated DKK8.4bn for Store Nord whereof GN Audio/Jabra was DKK3.2bn.

Jabra made significant improvements in its approach to commercialising innovation this year. The growth of the UC market is supported by significant investments made by the UC software providers including Microsoft’s upgrades of its current business with new Cloud capabilities, also further expanding into the SME segment. Also, Jabra has announced a number of new mobile products.

In most regions, quality and audio delivered 9% organic growth driven by very strong performance,
especially in North America. Additionally, the CC&O business delivered very strong organic growth of
24%. These strong performances reflect GN Audio’s ability to seize current market opportunities,
reallocate resources and execute. As a result of this strong performance, GN Audio has further
