As our new Audio DSP SW Developer, you will be part of the Strategic Project department, developing firmware for low power communication. The team is a small cross-functional team, which is able to execute projects fast, as all needed product development competencies are available directly within the team (Audio, DSP, Embedded, Mechanical and Electronics engineers). All work will be done in a project oriented development culture, collaborating with the team members in the strategic project team as well as with specialist from other areas of GN Group.

Job responsibilities
Your responsibility will be to develop new, along with refine and improve existing algorithms in corporation with Research, Audiology and Electro-acoustic teams. You will develop, adapt and optimize these algorithms onto our ultra low power DSP platform.

You own the testing of your project deliveries, and during the integration iterations, you support the debugging and contribute to solving any challenges. Sparring, code refactoring, peer reviews, improvements and knowledge sharing are also part of your daily work.

You are focused on achieving innovative and creative solutions with high quality and you will challenge your colleagues and manager on procedures when you see alternative solutions.
• You have knowledge and a good understanding of the following areas:
o Low-power audio and signal processing.
o Low-level assembler implementation
o Knowledge within audio hardware, AD/DA converters, microphones, speakers, and lab equipment.
o Confident with version control, issue tracking, software design.
• Experience with low-power real-time DSP systems in consumer audio devices.
• High level algorithm simulations in Matlab
• Basic understanding of psychoacoustics and electro-acoustic devices.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Master degree is an advantage
• You speak, read and write English fluently
