In this role, you will work both strategically and operationally with supply chain management. You will manage your own team and set the agenda at our manufacturing site while collaborating with our global supply chain community to develop global initiatives.

At our manufacturing site, you will get 80 new colleagues. Here, you will join the local management team of 6 to make sure we can continue to transform lives through the power of sound.

Drive supply chain management from A-Z
You will manage a team consisting of 2 buyers, 1 planner and 2 warehouse employees, handling all planning, purchasing and stock management activities at the factory. Furthermore, you will ensure alignment between our local factory, Global Supply Chain, Global Purchasing and our assembly factories in China and Malaysia. This will take you travelling 10-20 days a year.

Thus, you will balance hands-on involvement in supply chain operations with strategic development of the supply chain area. More specifically, you will:

• Develop and validate forecast analyses and follow up on capacity planning by tracking local production in coordination with the assembly factories and Global Supply Chain
• Manage daily planning, inventory management and purchasing activities at the factory
• Develop and motivate your team to optimize employee satisfaction and performance
• Report and evaluate on previous forecasting results to improve accuracy
• Participate in Global Supply Chain meetings, workshops and projects, e.g. to implement a new ERP system, develop business continuity plans and improve forecasting processes
• Manage day-to-day supplier contact, incl. VMI and replenishment suppliers, in close collaboration with Global Purchasing

Engaging manager with hands-on supply chain experience
• You have 2+ years of relevant work experience within supply chain management, especially with forecasting and planning, and you know how to translate large data sets into meaningful actions
• You have 2+ years of experience as a manager and know what it means to help people succeed
• You communicate and negotiate effortlessly in English
• You have a degree within supply chain management, business or a technical field – as a minimum at bachelor’s level
